Hurlers Make it Two-out-of-Two

The senior hurlers have had a good start to the league campaign with two wins from two so far. In round one we faced a dogged Brothers Pearse team, managing to pull away in the second half to win by 2-21 to 1-5. This was followed up a week later by a great win over Kilburn Gaels in Greenford. It was a very close-fought match but Robert Emmetts showed greater determination on the day and thanks to some good finishing by our forwards we ran out 1-15 to 0-8 winners. Next up is Sean Treacys in Round 3 where a win is vital to keep our momentum going into the first round of the championship.
